CPC101 Construction Project Controls – Customised for Builders & General Construction Contractors of Australia (Saturday, 1x6 hours session)

This practical course is specifically designed to meet the needs of project managers, construction managers, and subcontractors in the building and general construction industry of Australia. The intent is to provide the basic knowledge and skills to win and deliver projects on time and within budget.

This course is based on the Australian construction standards including the Master Builders Association (MBA) HC7 Contract and GCC6 General Conditions of Contract, and will cover:

• Planning and scheduling
• Cost estimation
• Cost control – budgeting, payments, and forecasting
• Progress and productivity
• Change control
• Risk management
• Project reporting

Duration of the course: The total duration of the course is 6 hours. This course will be delivered in one 6-hours session on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

His professional experience over a span of 3 decades covers organisations such as BHP, MMG, Codelco, Anglo American, BlueScope Steel, Regional Rail Link Authority, General Electric, Jacobs Engineering, Fluor Australia, Hatch Engineering, KBR and ICI Engineering.

Ashwini is highly skilled in leading cross functional teams, liaising with contractors, clients and external agencies to ensure on time completion of project milestones. Building and construction is his passion and has a strong track record in demanding environments by implementing Best Industry Practices.


Anil is an experienced project management executive, program & mega project director with more than 3 decades of diverse and extensive experience in developing and delivering projects across renewable energy, offshore oil & gas, petrochemical/ oil refining, clean room technology- pharmaceutical, semi-conductor fabs, industrial & commercial buildings (CSA & MEP) and mining/mineral processing industry sectors.

With a track record in general management, strategy/business development, strategy advisory/ consulting in PMO, bankable feasibility Studies, Greenfield and Brownfield project management, he has led multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, proposals/ bidding and business analysis teams across Australia, Asia and the GCC/Middle East regions to deliver projects & asset ventures of value from US$50m to US$1bn.
