Hello, PCI has already elaborated information on ECITB. You can build your career in Project Controls from ACostE route as well. ACostE provide tiered accreditation's in Project Controls. I believe ACostE accreditation's are more recognized in UK Defense sector. To know more, please visit http://www.acoste.org.uk/template_content_A.php?page_id=497&track=Tiered_Accreditation Hope this helps. Cheers

Hello Sophia, "ECITB Level 2 Diploma in Project Control, Estimating, Planning and Cost Engineering" should be a good starting point for formal accreditation in Project Controls. This course/accreditation is aimed at those who require an introduction to the role of the Project Controller or Project Practitioners with little or no formal training in the subject of Project Controls. This course provides a comprehensive and detailed insight into the fundamentals of Project Controls including planning, estimating and cost engineering. Project Controls Institute (PCI) provide an end to end support (training, assessment and accreditation) for all ECITB courses/accreditation's. ECITB Level 3 courses/ accreditation's in Project Controls are as given below: [li]ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Project Controls Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Planning Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Cost Estimating Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Cost Engineering Practice.[/li] ECITB Level 5 courses/ accreditation's in Project Controls are as given below: [li]ECITB Level 5 Diploma in Project Controls Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 5 Diploma in Planning Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 5 Diploma in Cost Estimating Practice.[/li] [li]ECITB Level 5 Diploma in Cost Engineering Practice.[/li] "Project Controls Technician Level 3" apprenticeship standard has now been fully approved by the Minister of State (UK Government) for Skills at the Department of Education and the assessment plan is also approved subject to minor comments, giving the green light for the launch of the apprenticeship in Q3 2017. Hope this helps you. Thanks PCI
