Hi
The between Project Controls and Project Management is given below:
• Project Controls is an integral part of project management. The main focus of Project Controls is to manage project’s time and cost.
• Project Manager directs the work of the project. Project Controller advises the Project Manager and team about Project progress, possible cost & schedule deviations, forecast to completion and recovery plans.
• Project Controller generates the project’s cost/ schedule information and hence acts as a “intelligence” to Project Manager. The Project Manager use this information and makes decisions for the project.
